The North East India region, with its immense diversity and rich cultural heritage, faces unique challenges in social and economic development. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plays a crucial role in bridging these gaps by promoting sustainable and inclusive growth.
The North East CSR Forum (NE-CSRF) is a collective and collaborative forum of stakeholders in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Donors in North East India. This includes – Companies and CSRs, donors, philanthropies, social and development studies departments and institutes, development media, commerce & industry departments of States (dealing with CSRs), NGOs and development sector NGOs and others. Building upon the success of the 2022 NECSRF conference, the 2nd edition in 2024 aims to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss advancements, address challenges, and chart a collaborative path for impactful CSR initiatives in the region.
Objectives
- To provide a knowledge and networking platform to engage CSR stakeholders and donors of and for North East India for qualitative deliberations, discussions on areas to support and strengthen CSR and donor / philanthropic ecosystem in the region.
- To enable sharing, learning and exchanging experiences, practices, case studies, and examples of CSR and donor interventions in the region;
- To recognise good practices in CSRs and philanthropic interventions;
